Node Will Host Crude Oil Pipeline Discussion at Newburgh Rowing Club

This Sunday, September 7, node  will host the art and activist project SeaChange, as it makes its way down river from Troy to New York City. Wigwam reported on node a while back, and it is going ahead full steam, with a change in location from the Long Dock building to the University Settlement Camp.

The SeaChange event will be held at the Newburgh Rowing Club, on the waterfront south of the ferry dock, near Gully’s Ba.r The discussion will focus on the crude oil virtual pipeline along the Hudson, and will also include a presentation about node.

  • DIY Mushroom Cultivation Workshop (9/9): A 3-hour workshop covering the core skills needed to start growing “mushroom to mushroom” year round. Theoretical concepts and practical skills are covered in-depth and include various ways to cheaply grow edible and remediative mushrooms and their mycelium.
