- I took this photo and a few others while waiting for my son to finish soccer practice at Seargent.
- Isn’t there something forlorn about a school when nobody but you is around?
- A dumpster full of not that old office equipment and some Beacon Bulldog hurdles.
- No idea what this thing is, but it puts me in mind of the monolith in 2001: A Space Odyssey.
- The hills of Marlboro are about 30 to 40 minutes by bicycle from Beacon, via the scenic River Road.
- The apples are ripe.
- It’s election season and pumpkin season. Coincidence?
- Driveway decor on Frozen Ridge Road.
- The view from Lawrence Farms on Frozen Ridge, where you can pick your own 7 days a week.
- Back in Beacon, a few random shots from Madame Brett Park to Denning’s Point. I’ve probably photographed this old wall a couple dozen times.
- The Rivers and Estuaries building.
- This vista will be only steps away from the new parking lot.
- My rebuilt 1970s Takara. The brand was based in Oklahoma but had the bicycles made in Japan. Completely chromed under the paint!
- It may not be paving over paradise, but you’ll be driving through it. Let humans walk like the rest of the “wildlife habitat” we come to ogle.
- The Dave Miller Trail, linking Madame Brett with Denning’s.
- With no bicycle and no bench, a very primitive looking scene. But it was an active zone for ships out to the Hudson not long ago.
- The same ruins a day later. It changed dramatically a few months ago, due to a fire.
Great shots
Thanks, Tim.
