HV Seed Brings On New Educator

Hudson Valley Seed is springing into action with its drive to bring more students into garden programs. This includes raising funds and bringing on another teacher. From the HVS newsletter:

Gretchen Larson-Wolbrink has most recently been at home with her three children, Lily, Hope, and Nathan.  In  spare moments, she’s outside gardening, and has a particular interest in permaculture. Experiential learning is a life-long passion, and she delights in making discoveries in the garden, then planning lessons that invite children into those joyful discoveries.

Gretchen is also an ordained Presbyterian pastor, and served as the interim pastor of Southside Presbyterian Church in Tucson, Arizona.  She has a heart for organizing, and hopes to engage the community in dreaming big about what is possible, and working together to build the world we want our children to inherit.

We are almost half way to our matching challenge!

You can bring 140 more students to the garden.

Between now and April 25th, your contributions to Hudson Valley Seed will be matched dollar for dollar.
